A teen was shot by police after a car chase for more than 30 miles. The teen was traced back to living in Kentucky and was driving through Maryland alone in his car. That week, his mother, father and sister were found dead (shot in the head). They suspect that he was responsible for the deaths, but unfortunately the may never know. After driving through a traffic light, the police tried to pull him over. The teen sped away which began a chase. The teen shot through his window and injured a policeman wearing his vest, so the cops shot the teen to death in his car.
I think it is very sad that the teen had to die for this. I don't think it was right for them to shoot him to death, even if he was dangerous. Death should not be his penalty because we don't know what was going on in his life. His family could have been abusive or he could have a mental illness and got out of control. The teen just needed help and support, but now he will never get it because they ended his life after one mistake.
