in Charleston, West Virginia it was discovered that chemicals had leaked into the drinking and bathing water. People smelled a weird licorice like smell, got rashes, and became lightheaded from the water which alerted authorities who checked it out. They say that it is now safe to drink, but people in Charleston arent sure, they say they are still getting rashes and having other reactions to the water.
I can't imagine what it would like to not be able to drink from the tap or bath at all for weeks. Not to mention the health affects! No one knows that much about the health affects of the chemical, so they're not entirely sure how it will affect the people. That's scary for the people living there-I hope theyre okay.
