miners commit a minor offense by polly hynds-riddle

in south america there are mine shafts which are illegal to use but as a source of income many people have decided to use them but recently around 15 miners have become stuck in the mines! there have been 11 rescued and arrested

i think this is sad because the people had so few options for money they endangered themselves and broke the law to have an income. the mines were most likely closed as to avoid a situation like this.
