Uber, the on demand car service company, is shooting for the sky. They are developing a taxi for the clouds, the Uber Elevate Network, set for a demo debut at the Word Expo in Dubai in 2020.
"Urban aviation is a natural next step for Uber," chief product officer Jeff Holden said in a statement, noting that the company's original mission was to both give people back their time while alleviating congestion and pollution. "That's why we're working to make 'Push a button, get a flight' a reality."
This is really exciting for transportation technology! Ideas like these have been around for ages, and it's really cool to think that they might become a reality.

ReplyDeleteI never thought something like this would happen and I hope I can see it one day. It's all very exciting.
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool! My only concern is: will the cars be safe and fully functioning? I guess time will tell how the fly car develops.
