New York recently become the first state to introduce tuition-free college to public residents who make less than $100,000 annually. The students must attend full-time, and will still have to pay for their rooms and books. These students must also live and work in the state of New York.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. Our economy is already screwed up, and I feel like this will screw it up even more. Making our tuition free means we will have to pay more somewhere else. I just think we should pay it ourselves, so that things don't get more complicated.

ReplyDeletefair enough however with the limitation of residents under 100,000 dollar annual income, it seems more feasible.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, the last thing we need is for our money to go somewhere else unnecessary, when we do pay for our education we know that it will for sure be beneficial for the rest of main kind and also for our economy.
