Ian Hille Current Events 2

Just recently Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley resigned from his office to avoid being impeached. It all started with him being charged with two counts of violating state campaign laws. In addition to being charged with failure to file campaign disclosures and failure to disclose economic interests, he has also been rumored to be apart of a alleged adulterous affair with a former advisor that he tried to cover up. What do you think of all this? Personally, I think that a governor that is charged for this sort of thing is a bad apple and shouldn't have ever been elected governor.

  1. I wrote about this too. I agree that he shouldn't have been elected initially but i think its good he stepped down before being impeached because it shows he knows he did wrong
