current event 6 shannah roberts

A man was dragged off of a flight after he was asked to give up his seat because they needed a certain number of employees on the flight. No one volunteered to give up their seats so they randomly selected names off the list of passengers. This man refused to get up was extremely forcefully removed from his seat and dragged by the arms off the plane, only for him to run back on saying "i have to go home"

This is terrible on both ends. The man shouldn't have been so stubborn, they weren't trying to cause trouble or target him specifically. However, security shouldn't have removed him so forcefully. It was incredibly violent and unnecessary. They could have just asked someone else to give up their seat.

  1. As far as I'm aware, the man was randomly selected and when he stated he was a doctor who had patients waiting for him back home, he was forcefully removed and knocked unconscious in the process.
