United Airlines removed a man by force in an effort to make room for crew members. Apparently, the airline had offered $800-$1,000 to individuals willing to give up their seats on the airline for crew members to board. No one wanted to give up their seat so they decided to start removing by force. The paying customer was forced off the plane by law enforcement leaving him bloodied. United Airlines states that this will never happen again.

It is a bit ridiculous that this even happens in today's society. Why would the airlines overbook? Apparently this is becoming commonplace. But, it seems like it's an easy way for customers to make money. If they give up their seat they can be paid.
Isn't the customer supposed to come first? No one should be forced to move their seats just for the pleasure of someone else.
