Child labor in Latin America By: Bella Morris
Latin America has been known for having one of the highest rates in poverty and child labor. Nigeria ranking 10 in the 2014 Index of child labor, now taking the gold for being the highest rated child labor area in the whole world. In September polls were taken at the National Labor Organization. This poll displayed the age of 5-17 year old engaged in child labor decreased from 10.8% than the last poll being taken at the percentage of 13.6% in 2008.
Child labor is one of the most injustice and crudest thing. Children being worked to the extremes starting at the age of 5 is ridiculous! I really hope the percentages keep decreasing. It still surprises me there are situations like this going on around the world.

Child labor is a terrible thing and quite pointless because the child is not strong enough to do many things, so why even bother. leave the kids alone!!
ReplyDeleteI agree, child labor laws need to be stricter in other countries.
