Tragedy hits a student in Townview

A student that went to Townview was shot and killed in Desoto on Thursday night. Lovell Jenkins III was just hanging out with his friends in Desoto and around 9 pm someone shot him in the chest. His friends ran away after that and they said to the police that they didn't know the man who shot him. Even though people expected the police to already crack down the case, unfortunately that's not what's happening. They said that they are still at the "baby stages" of this investigation. The article said that all the detectives are saying that maybe they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. They will hold a candlelight vigil for the student tonight at 7 pm.     I really hope they find out who did that! Someone should not get away with something like this!
