Last night in Brazil, anarchy erupted. The day started out with regular protesters marching through the city, demanding free public transport; this same day, The President announced a 2 and a half billion plan to improve public transport. After three hours of this, some of the protesters broke out and began to attack the city center’s bus terminal. Other protestors were masked (Apparently apart of the anarchist group Black Bloc) vandalized cash machines and ticket turnstiles and also lit a bus on fire. Public transport isn’t the only trouble in Brazil; “wider unrest has been targeted at Brazil's rising cost of living, poor public services, corruption and the misuse of government money.”
I totally support freedom of speech and belief, because it is a part of humanity: free will. In addition, I support going against the norm or standing up to the men who oppress. I agree with free thinking and voice, but not when I brings violence. People have said this over and over again a thousand times: VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER. Honestly, it just creates more violence and physical(and emotional) scars that won’t go away. Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-24680283
