A boy on a cruise that was almost over, drowned. Carnival Cruise Ship reportedly does not have life guards on their ships and children under 13 are supposed to be watched over by parents. the boy was 6 and apparently his brother was swimming too. When he started to drown, the DJ turned off the music and a guest, fully clothed, jumped in to save him. The guest pulled him out, but he couldn't be saved. Reportedly, the people on the ship went into havoc with praying and crying.
This is just awful! Can you believe that the parents weren't watching, and worst of all, there weren't any life guards to save him. Not all guests will be as heroic as the one that jumped in for the boy, so who would be there to save people from that! I have been on two cruise ships where there was staff everywhere and life guards! It makes for a safer trip, and one that I would rather be on.
