9 year old boy sneaks onto plane. By: Kindle Kelley

A 9 year old runaway boy sneaks onto a plane and flies to Las Vegas. The boys parents and airlines are working on getting him back home to Minneapolis. The boy claims that he waited until the gate person was busy until he snuck past them. He managed to get by Security and everyone, he even tricked the flight attendants by telling them that his parents were at the back of the plane. He was not questioned until he arrived in Las Vegas. Now people are questioning the security because they are supposed to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen.

This is kind of sad if you ask me, a 9 year old running away from home? Crazy, right. It is a good thing that he got caught though because there is no telling on what could have happened to him if he was in Las Vegas all alone. A 9 year old all by himself with no money, no food, no shelter, no anything. He would have probably got into some trouble. I hope that this doesn't happen again, because what if the next kid doesn't get caught? Bad things could happen.

  3. This story does make you question security in the airport. This kid got by security when the guy was busy, apparently. The security guards should never be preoccupied. What if that was a terrorist who got past him instead of a little kid?

  4. I agree with you! I think it's ridiculous that airport security didn't catch him before he got onto the plane, but I also have to wonder what made him run away so far. I hope they do a background check on his parents and see if any neglect or abuse is involved.

  5. I agree, the airport security should pick up there game because this could happen again and if it does, next time they will be more prepared and catch whoever is trying to sneak on.
