The 10 worst countries for child labor by Angelica Fischer

Eritrea and Somalia, the two top countries where child labor is most prevalent. High poverty rates a similar theme across countries where child labor is most commonly used. Important countries like China, India, Russia, and Brazil were also found to have extreme risks because child labor laws are often poorly enforced. Globally, there's been an improvement in the risks of child labor.

I think that children shouldn't have to work at such a young age. They should go to school and get their education and have fun being a kid. That way when they are adults they have a good job, that pays good money. Its a good thing that the child labor has decreased a little bit but there is still too many children working when they should be having fun being kids and making their mistakes.

  1. I agree, Child labor isn't fair and the laws prohibiting it should be strictly enforced.

    1. I think child labor is cruel UNLESS the child wants to earn money, and agrees to do the job.

  2. Child labor is something that should be completely stopped. I'm glad that the amount of child labor is declining, but there shouldn't be any child labor whatsoever.

  3. It needs to stop. Kids already think they need to grow up faster than they do, child labor is taking away the few years that they have as kids to play and be optimistic about the world.

  4. I think that there needs to be a limit to what children do from an appropriate age. If they want to work after a certain age then let them because this could help their family out, but don't work the child too hard.

  6. I honestly don't understand how people are still getting away with child labor, it should've been stopped a long time ago.
