Lockdown in Connecticut by Zoey Crummey

This Monday at Central Connecticut State University, the campus went on lock down around midday after a suspicious person was reported, possibly armed, with a fun and maybe even a sword. Currently the suspect is in custody, and as far as anyone can tell there were no injuries. The campus maintained a safe lockdown and stayed in order.

I think that this is very scary, although I'm extremely glad that this was stopped before anyone got hurt. This is just another example of how dangerous guns are and what serious of a problem they can be. Also, it seems strange that the suspect was carrying a sword with them, it's not a very conventional weapon! Although this was scary, it's good the campus has effective security measures.

  1. If he didn't get caught, I wonder if he would have hurt anybody. Hopefully not, but it was a bad idea to bring a gun and a sword on campus.

  2. I wonder how he got the gun and sword because it's people like him that are ruining guns for people that just use them for hunting or protection.
