Tax on high calorie foods is potential solution to obesity? By Jackson Daughety
Mexico is the top country with obesity problems. A new tax on high calorie foods has recently been approved to solve this problem. This includes fried foods, sweets, cereal made foods etc. This happened recently after mexico has overtaken the Untied States for the most obese country.
This seems like quite a desperate attempt to get people back into shape. The truth is that even with this new tax organic foods that are healthy are still more expensive. Another soloution should be found as soon as possible.

People are going to find their way around this tax, this is a waste of time. I agree they need to find a new solution quickly before it gets too out of hand.
ReplyDeletei think this is a smart and clever way to encourage people to eat better and to get more money for the mexican government
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I don't think it will make much of a change not many people are willing to change their diet
ReplyDeleteI thought this article was interesting. I also did my blog on it.
ReplyDeleteI think this will make SOME people change their diet but not too many.
ReplyDeletePeople are just going to find some other way to get junk food. I'm also very surprised to see that 5 people, including me chose this news story.
