White Rock ISD?

A group of people in East Dallas wants to form a new White Rock ISD. Rep. Allen Vaught says, "You have a district that is too big and is not responding well." Damn right it's not responding well. As you know, all my posts are about DISD and its problems. Vaught says he hasn't thought that far ahead. Once the group has 2,000 supporters, he wants to hold a public meeting to discuss a course of action. Now what about the other side of the situation? What about the crappy DISD system itself? What do they have to say about this? Mike Miles (the stupid superintendent)said he doesn't believe DISD would run efficiently and better if it were broken into smaller districts. What a moron he is. Two Dallas ISD trustees said the idea is worth pursuing but is a long shot. So at least that DISD has SOME support of this wonderful idea. This is not the first time that DISD was suggested to break up into smaller parts. I think this is a wonderful idea, but somebody named Mike Miles is being a crappy jerk and is suggesting not to do it. This is Cameron Ordinario the news and hate of DIS frikkin D. 1. I guess I'd have to agree, because it does make more sense. I've noticed a lot of things that need work on at Booker T, but also at other public schools in general, and 2 smaller districts will be able to focus better on their students. The only downside for Booker T. students is that all the current students from that area may not be able to come back, and it'll be harder for new ones to get in.

  2. DISD is going through a lot of trouble lately and there seems to be no end in sight, so this seems like a good idea unless DISD can pull it toghether
