Friday,
September 28, a school bus in Louisville, Kentucky, picking up Frost Middle
School students got in an accident. The Jefferson County Public School bus hit
a car at an intersection. The bus hit a Mustang that had three high school
students in it, and the bus then flipped on its side. 50 people were then taken
to the hospital. 47 of the 50 taken to the hospital were middle school
students, around half had minor injuries, and the rest were taken for safety
measures.
This
article reminded me of the possible dangers riding a school bus, and the
importance of knowing the safety procedures for an accident. Also, I’m
wondering if busses will ever have any more safety measures, like having set
belts.
They really need to start putting more thought into making school buses safer!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Sydney! I think that seat belts would come in handy for this wreck. These students are definitely in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Sydney, because we have had too many kids die from school bus crashes. And I say they should bring back the seat belts in the buses!!!!
