Seven-year-old Devon Carrow has food allergies
so bad, just sitting in the same room with a kid who ate peanut butter at lunch
could kill him. This is why he can’t leave the house for long, let alone attend
a school. But thanks to the technology of today, he actually can! He sits in
his classroom, runs errands for his teacher and even participates in group
projects all thanks to a $6,000 robot from Nashua, N.H. –based VGo
Commnuications. “We try to give the child the ability to feel like they’re
right in class with everybody else,” Tom Ryder, co-foiunder of VGo
Communications, told Yahoo! Shine. “You can be pretty much anywhere in the
world, as long as you’re connected to the internet,” he concluded.
