A very interesting article caught my eye when I was roaming around CNN Last night. Written by  Halimah Abdullah I was very interested after reading the material. A man named Matt Ankenbruck has done something that maybe we should all think about. He has cut off all  access to the Political Campaign. He got rid of his t.v, Stopped his newspaper subscription, and even stopped listening to the radio. The type of voters that the Candidates are sending so much time and money on are he usual Social active americans. The people who are undecided and like to go with the flow, who do not listen to others but make opinions for themselves are the real ones the candidates need to look at.  Halimah Abdullah has written several articles about the campaign in the past few months and is planning on to continue up until the big day. I already knew much about the politics and how dirty this campaign has been. At this moment in time the candidates are so busy trying to bring eachother down no one has really focused on the issues and how it effects our country. I believe this article was written specifically for President Obama and Mitt Romney. The two candidates need to focus on the issues and need to let people make here own opinion. The television cannot tell us who is better neither can the radio or magazines. At the end of the day it is up to us to decide who is right for us and our country. Abdullah states in his article
"If you think about what these ads are trying to do, they are trying to convince that 7% in the 20% of states that matter," said John Geer, chairman of Vanderbilt University's political science department. "It's a small slice instead. These people might be undecided but they tend not to follow politics and might not turn out to the polls."
This article is very important to let everyone know what is going on and how we can change it Politics can turn the wrold upside down if we listen to non-sense and do not use our brains. So, the next election or when your parents go to vote this year ask them one single question. " What do you stand for?"

  1. I agree. Politicians and the two main parties spend too much time fighting each other and blaming the other for America's hardships. It seems like they will say anything for a vote. Instead of voting for a person just because they are Democratic/Republican, voters should elect the person who stands for what they believe in.
