2012 drought reminds citizens of possibly dust bowl

2012 has came with small percentage of precipitation for the states of Texas, Oklahoma , and elsewhere. People of the south worrie about future possibilities of a recurring dust bowl. fears of death and memories of past traumas trouble the citizens. Of the south today.   1. This is a good example of why history is important. People are remembering an event in history (like the Dust Bowl) and are applying it to their lives today to help prevent a problem.
