Attack in Bolivia by Sylvie Lednicky

A couple days ago, four men forced their way into the studio of the Bolivian radio station "Radio Popular". Radio personality Fernando Vidal was doing a live interview when the studio was broken into. Listeners heard the gunshot, and then the intruders splattered gasoline on Vidal and set him on fire. Four suspects have been arrested, but Vidal's family still wonders if the person behind it all will ever be caught. Vidal is still in the hospital, with major burns. Vidal was an outspoken man who was probably attacked because he had an opinion contrary to his attacker's. I don't think it is right that four men can just barge into a radio station and set the host on fire, live. What  kind of world is that? It makes me feel unsafe just thinking about it.

  1. It would be scary to hear a gunshot over the radio! It's lucky that he survived.
