When their tour bus crashed in Switzerland, Grammy-award-winning jazz bassist Marcus Miller and 10 members of his band were injured and their driver was killed. The injuries that the band sustained are not severe, but the driver died as a result of his injuries. Authorities say the bus toppled over on the A2 motorway. The crash, near the town of Schattdorf in central Switzerland, occurred as the band was traveling from Monaco to the Dutch town of Hengelo, where they were due to perform on Monday. No other vehicles were reported as part of the accident, but police gave no further details about the cause of the crash or the injuries.

It is sad the driver was killed. It is lucky there were no other deaths in this accident.
