Thousands of protesters marched the streets of Dublin, Ireland Saturday in memory of a woman who died due to the denial of her getting an abortion, and to demand a change to the country's laws. Savita Halappanavar, a 31-year-old who was 17 weeks pregnant at the time went into a hospital on October 21 complaining of a back pain. The doctors who examined her told her she was having a miscarriage, yet denied her an abortion, even though she was in extreme pain. Halappanavar later died of septicemia, or a blood infection, at the hospital. The protestors want to stand up for women's rights, and prevent anything from happening the way it did for Halappanavar ever again.

If she died from a miscarrage she shopuld have got an abortion SINCE and only SINCE the baby was already dead or not formed or whatever a miscrariage does. THAT had something to do with that doctor. Her family should sue the hospital or doctor or whoever told her that she couldnt have an abortion for that.
