Garment Workers Stage Angry Protest After Bangladesh Fire by Tristam Vowell
In Dhaka,Bangladesh, thousands of garment workers put up an angry protest after a fire killed 112 workers in the factory. The protestors have blocked streets and are forcing factories to close for a time. All that's been done in reguard to the fire is the prime minister offering prayers for the dead and their families (not saying that isn't anything but in reality it did nothing financially for the families), and the rest was up to the protestors to help stop the factories from continuing the hourly work shifts for now.
