Recently, a six year old boy in Colombia got a mole removed.
Yes, this sounds like a small task, but would you believe it when I told you
that this mole covered 40% of this boy’s body and weighed 11 pounds? Didier is
famous in his small village and is commonly known as "Turtle Boy"
because his moles is mostly on his back and resemble the shell of a turtle.
Before the operation, Didier was consulted by some Colombian doctors. The
doctors said that the mole would become cancerous if not removed. With the help
of a local News team, Didier raised lots of money to help him find a cure for
his great burden. A doctor from the UK's Great Ormond Street Children’s’
Hospital was asked to fly to Bogotá to perform the complex operation. Now,
Didier is happily living blemish-free.
