Current Event- Ellen Whitehead

Chen Zhitong, a 35 year-old man living in Xiamen, China is extremely talented at the toy claw machine. Last year alone, he won over 15,000 toys from the machines. He states that some restaurants beg him not to use their machines. He explains that the trick to winning is the angle of the claw, and that's what helps him win so frequently. Zhitong realized that he shouldn't have all of those toys because he has no purpose for them. He donating 1,000 of the toys to schools for the deaf and blind. This made him content as well as the receivers of the toys. I think that it is crazy that this man is able to collect so many toys. It must've taken a long time to master his technic.

  1. I think while it's really cool that he was able to win so many stuffed animals and toys, I do wish that he would donate more than 1,000 considering he gained 15,000 from one year alone. So many more kids could be able to enjoy toys like that.
