Neil Armstrong Burried at Sea

Neil Armstrong, first man to walk on the moon, died on August 25, 2012 at the age of 82. His cremated remains were interred into the Atlantic Ocean on Friday from a US Navy Cruiser. The ship was called the USS Philipine Sea. On this ship they had a burial-at-sea service which Neil's wife, Carol Armstrong, participated in. Before landing on the moon Neil was an aviator and had flown 78 combat missions during the Korean War. His memorial service was a day before the burial which hundreds of people attended at the Washington National Cathedral.
