Anti-gay Marriage Marchers in France :( by Sydney May

     In France, tens of thousands of individuals took to the streets of France to protest gay marriage. The Catholic church leading, they all promoted the slogan "one mother+one father for every child". They marched the streets holding signs and screaming how they felt to protest the government's plans to legalize gay marriage. After all of the action, they are now having a voting in January 2013 to determine once and for all if same-sex marriage will be allowed in their country. According to some polls, however, most people living in France were for gay marriage, but not for adoption with their marriage afterwards. This article was written by Gerard Bon, and it was very factual. I didn't get the feeling that the author was for or against what was occurring, so it was nice to be able to form my own opinion of it. I think that this article was written towards all audiences to inform of current happenings. It's horrible, in my opinion, that people are not treated fairly. I believe that everyone is equal and should be treated as such, and it's sad that that doesn't happen in all places.
