A devastating phone call was made from the police station in Sao Paulo to 41 yr. old Gilberto's Araujo's family on Sunday with the heart breaking news that Gilberto had been murdered. Gilberto's brother, Jose Marcos Araujo, Actually went to the morgue were Gilberto's body was resting and identified that it was Gilberto's body. Jose took the body to his mother's hometown for the wake when Gilberto suddenly walked in the room saying these remarkable words, "Guys, I'm alive, Pinch me"! His mother reported that most people who attended the funereal either fled or fainted by his surprising arrival. The body of Genivaldo Santos Gama was mistaken with Gilberto's due to their amazing resemblance. Turns out that Gilberto didn't know of his own death until a friend spotted him in the streets and informed him. This article was published on 24 Oct 2012. I didn't have any prior knowledge of this article before now but I found the story very amusing and funny. The family must be very happy to find that he was not dead.
This is a very amusing story, but I'm quite glad that he wasn't actually dead!
