Deadly Riots in Brazil-Molly Paley
13 more people have died in deadly riots in Brazil's largest city, Sao Paulo. The violence is between Brazilian police and a vicious gang called First Command of the Capital. Ninety police officers have died since the beginning of the year. The violence is mostly planned by jailed leaders of the gang. A poor prison system with lack of surveillance is being blamed for the escalated gang activity. Hopefully, Brazil can get this handled; it is a very dangerous situation.

This is so sad :( Its crazy how many people have been influenced by riots! Hopefully the deaths will slow soon enough.
ReplyDeleteThey need to build up their jail system. That is sad they still did not build it up since the last riot.
ReplyDeleteThis is horrible! I hope the riots end soon.
