Protest in Argentina-Faith Barnes

In Buenos Aies, Argentina people protested the government in a very strange way. They were banging pots and pans on Thursday. This was actually one of the latest in a series of "cacerdazors" which are protest named for the cooking pots participants. This protests are needed to draw attention to problems they say are growing in the South America Nation. " The people got tired, they really got tired of the governments lies," said Arturo Feldman, a twenty-tree year old student who joined the protest. The protest went global. The sound of clanking pans rang out in a Miami-area neighborhood known as Little Buenas Aires. They held signs saying "We are not afraid" and "We don't want a communist Argentina." In response Fernandez noted that her country is a democracy where people are free to express their opinions. Let everyone really say what they think and what they want for the country with sincerity.

  1. I think that the "cacerdazors" is a great way of protesting. Because it isn't violent but still grabs the governments attention quickly.
