Obama, Romney avoiding Mexico's drug war- by Ausia Jones

Throughout the election neither Obama or Romney haven't mentioned the brutal drug war in Mexico. Tens of thousands have died in drug-related violence in Mexico since 2006.  In the past six years, 60,000 people have died in drug-related violence. Some say the death toll could be as high as 100,000. Mexicans often see U.S. election through trade, immigration prisms. We share a 2,000 mile border and all the violence could spread to U.S.

  1. This is a very good point. If either of them is going to be the President it would be nice to know that they have a plan to fix things that are a little less "glamorous"

  2. I agree too....being President is hard, but that doesn't mean you should ignore problems in other countries. Those problems could end up coming to your country some day!

  3. I believe that it is important for the U.S. to be aware of what goes on in the area around us.
