Cops from the Dominican Republic arrested three suspects of the murder of Pascual Perez, a New York Yankees pitcher. One of the three actually confessed to killing Perez, as he was found beaten to death near his hometown, Santo Domingo. Apparently, the three confessed to conspiring to rob Perez, but I suppose that the event went to far. This happened last thursday and many are upset, as he was a very successful athlete and a loved family member and friend. This article was written by "Reuters" on Nbc.com, and I thought it was a good, factual, and concise article. It was written for all audiences, but could be given more to baseball fans. It did not have any bias to it, causing the reader to lean towards one side or the other, and it was very factual and got to the point quickly. It is so sad that things like this happen, and I hope that justice comes to this case.

It is terrible that the world has come to murder cases happening everyday. I just don't understand the point of killing someone. The murderer really needs to think about Perez's family and friends because they have just lost someone so terribly close to them because of people making stupid choices. I know that it will take a long time for his family to recover from this, but I hope that they will be okay.
