Fidel Castro...DEAD? Yes or No? By: Mikaela Carrillo

Fidel Castro

( There is an informational video in the sources. Thank You!)

Fidel Castro was the leader of Cuba, but he has recently stepped down. But that doesn't mean that his family has completly stepped down, his brother Raul Castro is now in command. Many people have been speckulating that Fidel has died, but recent conformation has concluded that he is well and alive. Fidel is now 86 years old, and has been walking with a cane. Fidel's response to all the rumors were "I don't even remember what a headache is," but he says, "proof of what liars" to resent pictures showing that he is no where near dead. I honestly wish that he was dead, because he has caused so much trouble for us.

Homes in Cuba
Castro and his family are by far the worst thing that ever happened to Cuba, and all of their people. Many Cubans have been living in bad conditions for many years. And many of them that have spoke against their government, have been put into jail for many years.

Homes today in Cuba are horrible for families, and are unclean for children of any age. Many families that you come across in Cuba are in major debt or poverty. Many parents don't have any money to feed their children, and themselves.

  1. He is just bad news for Cuba, and I'm sorry that he has done so much damage to them! Hopefully things will get better now that he has stepped down a little bit.

  2. Thankfully he has stepped down, slightly..... Maybe things will get better now because he's "gone"

  3. Even though he has stepped down, Cuba might still remain at its previous state. Who knows? His brother might be different, he might not.
