Haitians Living in Fear By Lucy Hinderliter

As if earthquakes weren't enough, Haiti is going through more struggles. Women are being sexually abused; men are being violent and threatening. The women are living in tents trying to hide from the abuse going on. They are living their lives in fear. Never knowing what might happen to them, and hoping that they will survive through this living hell. Many woman go into prostitution just so they can survive with food and shelter.  KOFAVIV and other programs are working to help the women of Haiti, giving them safety, support and training so they can make money and not have to sell themselves.

  2. This is absolutely terrible. How could we let Haiti succumb to this catastrophe? I am ashamed of what is going on. No one should every have to live like the people of Haiti are living.
