Hurricane Sandy- Hadassah Lai

Sheets of rain, whipping winds that hurt your face, and mass evacuations. Hurricane Sandy has terrified anybody and everybody that is living close to the waters. Meteorologists have been on the lookout every second of every minute, every minute of every hour, every hour of every day, keeping people updated. Since  people had underestimated Hurricane Katrina, they are very well prepared this time round. Many cities have shut down including New York City, New York and other big cities. Along with mass evacuations and the rain, many cities have had power shortages causing people to panic. This hurricane is expected to be the worst. Let's all hope that it would not be as tragic as the other natural disasters.
