Fidel Castro, Cuba's past leader, wrote an article that harshly put down rumors that he was on his death bed. He attacked the rumors the media were spreading about them and claimed them all to be completely false. Castro said he was in perfectly fine health. Elias Jaua, a Venezuelan politicial spoke with Castro for a while the day before he attacked the media. Jaua said that Fidel was good and not sickly at all. Since Castro had not been present for a long time in the political media, many people conjured up rumors about him having declining health and even dying. Fidel Castro's article to these rumors was very angry and he was not pleased at all with the things people had been saying about him. I probably would be very angry if people thought I had died too! This just goes to show how desperate people will get when they want to stir up some commotion in the media these days.
