Brazilian police take over dangerous Rio favela

In Rio de Janeiro on Sunday a maximum of 20 minutes the Brazilian police force had already block off all sides of  the Manguinhos slum in the predawn raid with 1,300 police men, some in helicopters, most walking but armed. No shots were reported of being fired and nobody was hurt but, three people were arrested. The police found 132 pounds of cocaine in the attack. Recently the police force have increased their attendance in Jacarezinho at a major crack cocaine consumption center. I on honestly didn't know anything about this story before I read it and it's not to interesting to me but 132 pounds of cocaine! that's allot! The story was published on 15 Oct 2012 and the article was very well written but I couldn't find a name of the author.
