Falklands war general arrested for crimes against humanity

On any normal day in Buenos Aires, Mario Benjamin Menendez the army general who led troops in the Falkland War, opened his door to find the police. He was arrested along with 15 other people for their assumed part taking in 'Operation Independence' In 1876-1983. General Menendez is held responsible for leading and participating in the Operation Independence, It was the first large military operation of the Dirty War. The Operation was an estimation of about 30,000 people who supposedly disappeared but, really they were kidnapped and murdered by this group of people.
