Recently in Colombia, five Colombian soldiers were killed during an attack by the Farc rebels. This has been an ongoing rebellion for five decades. Peace negotiations have begun in Oslo, Norway, but it is likely a ceasefire will not be agreed upon. The Colombian soldiers were killed near the border of Ecuador by "unconventional explosives". This is a terrible rebellion because it has been going on for fifty years. Colombia must come to an agreement with the Farc rebels sooner rather than later. Hopefully, a peace agreement will be reached when negotiations between Colombia and the Farc rebels continue in Havana, Cuba.
