Well Here in the U.S we are used to dealing with a president for 8 years at most. Imagine a country having a president for 19 Years. The re-elected Hugo Chavez has already been president for 13 years and is going for another 6 year term. The election was very close only having Hugo Chavez with 54 % of the votes. He has already had 2 surgeries and a lot of people are scared that he doesn't have the proper health to run a country. The opposing candidate gave a very good speech stating;
"We began the construction of a path," the opposition coalition candidate told supporters after conceding his defeat. Capriles congratulated Chavez on his victory and urged him to take into account the different views expressed by voters."Being a good president means working for the vision of all Venezuelans," he said.
