Firefighters in Mexico Abuse a Baby Bear

A photograph showing firefighters and civil defense abusing a 3 1/2 year old black bear cub, has outraged the citizens of Mexico.
Black bears have been almost driven to extinction in Mexico and are just recently coming back after 40 years. But due to severe droughts and forest fires they have been wondering into populated areas.
So when local emergency workers caught the bear they decided to "celebrate" the catch with a photo that was later distributed to the public. This raised concerns and rage among the the people and was later taken to the authorities.
The firefighters were fined for the abuse toward the bear. So in the end their acts against the animal did not go without punishment.

  1. It's so sad that they would abuse the baby bear. I understand why they had to catch it, but it's unbelievable that they would beat the cub just to "celebrate" the catch. It's a good thing that they were fined for their actions.

  2. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! That's crazy :c poor bears. They shouldn't beat it. It might not seem like it but they have feelings too. How would they like it if someone beat on them? -.-

  3. That's crazy! It's good that they caught the bear, but once they caught it, they should have taken him wherever they needed,,not hurt him. He did no harm.
