Today, a volunteer football referee was beaten to death
after a match by 3 boys on a team he attended today. He was sent to the nearest
hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 5:30 local time (in Deutschland).
The attackers were apprehended earlier today. The director of the club that the
man was volunteering for sent out a formal apology stating that he was sorry
that this had to happen to someone who was just enjoying his hobby, and he
hopes to prevent any more deaths of this nature from occurring. He also said that
anyone involved in the assault will be expelled from the club.
…What I want to know is what could have possibly provoked
such anger at this guy for (allegedly) just doing his job. Perhaps those 3 lost
the game and they bet on the game with money they didn’t have to repay some
debt. Or, they were die-hard athletes that had just a little bit too much
steroids shot up into them. They could have also been part of the mafia and
were told to kill the first dude they felt necessary. Whatever the case, why
would this even happen? He (most likely) didn’t deserve this, and he was doing
VOLENTEER work. Ermergerd, what has this generation come to?

This is horrible! It's getting harder and harder to see the beauty in human race these days.......I know it's there but with people like this you just wonder what goes on in their head.
ReplyDeleteI agree I don't see anything he did wrong. Heathers right what were they thinkimg there couldn't have possibaly been anything wrong to deserve that, unless he did something really bad to them awhile back, but even so they shouldn't have gone as far as they did.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad! They went WAY too far and they should be put behind bars for their actions.
ReplyDeleteIs football really that serious? I mean come on this man is just trying to do his job. How can you get that mad at someone to kill them?
ReplyDeleteThat's really sad. People get so angry over games at referees, that they aren't even safe off the field
