Hannah Menchu- European Cold Snap

Temperatures below zero and snowfall measuring almost four feet have caused thirteen deaths in eastern Europe.  Seven of the deaths were this weekend in the Czech Republic where temperatures were below zero.

In Moscow 12,000 snow-removal vehicles were sent out to clear roads and sidewalks.  Moscow, the capital of Russia, had its biggest snowstorm this November than in the previous half century.

The freezing whether is coming from Siberia.  The sub-freezing temperatures are expected to last another week.
