Noble Peace Prize-Faith Barnes

The Noble Peace Prize was given to the Europe Union on Monday. Leaders of the European Union accepted the prize. They called it a "perpetual peace congress that solved  the problems of war. They have had sixty years of encouraging peace. The European council President Herman Var Rompuy said "...We can break this endless cycle of violence.." and "...We can build a better future..." The Thorbjorn Jagland, chairman of the Noble Committee said it was a well deserved award. It has been a place of war which is now a place of peace. The award did not come without some disagreement. People have said that the European Union is going to use the money to help children with education and protection who live in places that lacks peace.
