Police attacked as Northern Ireland flag row inflames loyalists by Amaria Stern

On Monday night in Belfast, police were attcked by enraged loyalists. The Irish citizens were so upset because authorities decided to take down the British flag from Belfast City Hall. The windows of a police car were smashed and a bomb was thrown inside of the car. Although no one was harmed, the situation is being treated treated like an attempted murder. This is not the first occurence  of violence as a reslt of this decision.

Because I'm a person all about peace, I feel that violence is never the answer. There is nothing wrong with being passionate about something, but sometimes things are taken too far. I feel that the citizens should have been consulted on this decision and I don't ffeel that the flag should have been taken down.
