Nearly one and a half years ago people of spanish society that had lost everything because of the recession in the economy that ravaged the country created a mass protest called "Indignados". These people inspired the worldwide "occupy" movement. This movement is against social and economic inequality, and they try to make the economic status more fair. Now they have formed grass-roots organizations that ravage the cities daily. They criticize all kinds of people from doctors to college professors. They interfere when police try to take someone's apartment. To date they have stopped 500 evictions. In the last month alone, 3 people commited suicide while waiting for the police to take their home. This article was written by Slyvia Poggioli
