European Union to receive its Nobel Peace Prize-Joseph Katinas
Still mired in the worst economic situation since its founding, the European Union will receive its Nobel Peace Prize at a ceremony on Monday, in Oslo, Norway.
They were chosen for their peace and democracy and reconcilliation since World War II, but this has generated controversity.
Some people do not believe Europe deserves this. This is probably resulting from Greece's bad economy and having to use tear gas in the streets. This may also be from problems with Turkey and Syria and all the crazy political issues going on around there.
While this will not make a difference about Europe winning the award, there will be much controversity and dislikes about this decision.
I think this article is interesting; I hope that this award will lead Europe to peace.
