'European Olympics' to be held in 2015 - Jack VanGorden

The European region's 49 member committee voted that they will hold their own Olympics in 2015. They decided that it will be held at the Azerbaijan capital of Baku. The event will include around 15 sports. The games will start sometime in spring or early summer. This means that the European Games will come a year after the Summer Olympics, which will be held in Brazil. They're still trying to figure out the logistics of the Games but the NOC's say that, "it is no way intended to be a copy of the Olympic Games..." This will bring in financial gains but not cost them anything. Baku confirmed that their city is perfectly ready to host the event.
